Terms of Service

• You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.
• Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately of unauthorized use.
• Provide accurate information (name, email, billing details) and keep it current.

“Content” includes the information you store in Your1000Resume, such as Career Bank entries, resumes, uploads, and settings.

• You own the Career Bank entries, resumes, uploads, and settings you create (“Content”).
• You grant Your1000Resume a limited license to store, process, and display Content solely to operate, improve, and secure the Service.
• You confirm you have the rights or permissions to submit the Content you upload.
• You may export or delete your Content at any time (see Privacy Policy for details).

• Do not upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or deceptive Content.
• Do not probe, scan, or breach security, nor attempt to access other users’ data.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, or use automated access except where permitted by our API policies.
• Do not misuse AI outputs to create harmful, misleading, or discriminatory material.

• Plans renew automatically on the cadence shown at checkout (weekly, monthly, or quarterly). Taxes may apply.
• You may cancel at any time from the billing settings; access continues through the end of the paid term.
• Payments are handled by our provider (currently Stripe). We do not store complete payment card numbers.
• Fees are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle begins unless required by law.

Your1000Resume, including its software, templates, designs, and documentation, is owned by 808 Atoms LLC and its licensors. Aside from your Content, you may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without written permission. Trademarks, service marks, and logos used on the Service remain the property of their respective owners.

We use trusted subprocessors for hosting, payments, email delivery, and optional AI. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms. The current list of providers is available at /privacy#subprocessors.

• We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or mis-use the Service.
• We will attempt to provide notice (email or in-app) when feasible before suspension.
• You may terminate your account at any time via settings; deletion removes stored Content per our retention schedule.

• The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied.
• We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or specific hiring outcomes from resumes created with Your1000Resume.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Your1000Resume and 808 Atoms LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
• Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• Any dispute will be resolved in the federal or state courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
• Residents of the EU/UK may have additional rights under local consumer protection laws.

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. When materially updated, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and notify you via email or in-app messaging where appropriate. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
